@MrsRcCar: Tuat's good, then! Maybe try bracing:wrapping in an Ace bandage to keep you from hyperextending your ankle at night?

I've been having some bad pain in my foot for a week or so (33 weeks). I was advised massage and rest. I actually saw my chiropractor on Friday and he said my ankle was locked up, most likely from the extra weight. He adjusted it and with some massage from my husband, it's feeling a lot better. You might try a prenatal massage.

@MrsRcCar: I've been having a similar issue (varying degrees of pain/discomfort and purple discoloration/veins popping up) since early in my second trimester. my doctor says it's just pressure from my uterus. Wearing a compression stocking on that leg helps; so does sitting down with my feet up (not easy when chasing my two kiddos, believe me I know!). Apparently the only solution is delivering the baby...sigh. 😝

@FliegepilzHut: They said they don't suspect blood clot because the pain is so low. The pain wakes me out of dead sleep. I need sleep to look after my two other boys. 😲

If there is any swelling or discoloration, I would try to get it seen! Ligaments are more easily injured during pregnancy...and blood clots are more common! :meh:

Ok ladies. I am struggling with pain in my left lower calf/ankle/foot. It has been cramping off and on over the last couple days with lasting pain. The pain feels like tendon/ligament pain on the outside of my leg. I am nearly 31 weeks pregnant and diligent about my fluid intake to keep from being dehydrated. I am also making sure to keep my diet higher in potassium and magnesium. I called my doctor but they just seem to think its "normal" pregnancy side effect. The pain is awful. It feels like the muscles or whatever have ripped the ankle bone apart. 😭😭😭 any suggestions?

Update: my symptoms are totally back/worse! I guess I asked for it. Have been insanely exhausted and lots of queasiness. It hits me suddenly out of no where and eventually passes after a bit of deep breathing. Not fun though and definitely starting to make work a bit less bearable! But in the end, hoping it's all a sign pointing to good things ahead.

@ShootingStar: My tests are all positive although from what I understand taking a pregnancy test after getting a bfp isn't a great idea since hcg levels can still be high even after mc. So I don't believe that's recommended. However I have taken more tests because I'm crazy and they're always positive

With my first two babies I felt good most of the time, and now this time I've been nauseous. I start to feel better for a few hours, and then it comes back. I think it's normal for symptoms to come and go. Even with symptoms I'm nervous, I think it comes with the territory!

I know I'll be kicking myself later if I am suddenly very sick, but right now I'm having no pregnancy symptoms and it's making me nervous. The past 2 weeks I was insanely exhausted, had cramps and waves of nausea. Now all those things seem to have disappeared and I am just over 6 weeks, which is when I thought it typically gets worse. I'm already anxious because of the spotting I've been having but now that everything has suddenly stopped, I'm worried something happened. I know I won't know anything until my ultrasound in 2 weeks but wondering if anyone else experienced a sudden loss of symptoms and had things turn out OK? Keep waiting for the queasiness to hit again even though I don't actually want to be sick!

@pui: Not going to lie...the progesterone injections HURT! lol I had lumps in my butt from the oil and had to do a heat pad and massage each night after the shots. But I still preferred that one shot a day to the Crinone messiness. Plus my RE said the injections are more reliable and wouldn't even give Crinone for the first few months. Guess every RE is different. And I guess the side effects vary for each I guess.

I just finished 10 weeks of crinone and didn't find it bad at all. Progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms, so if you get pregnant, there is really no difference. And the suppository has the least amount of side effects from what I heard.

@pui: Do you have a choice between that and the injections? Not sure what you'll be using it for, but I did IVF and did the injections for a few months, then switched towards the end of the 1st trimester to the Crinone. I actually preferred the injections (never thought I'd say that I love needles more! ha!) because it was one and done and less side effects...

I am taking it for the first time this cycle, and I'm experiencing a lot of side effects... back pain, sinus craziness, sore boobs, and a couple other things too embarrassing to mention...
