@spaniellove: No. It only sounds like I'd go to MFM if I encountered issues. We don't have one on our medical staff so it would be a referral to a larger hospital for that. I'm going to ask at my next appt.

@marionberry: Are you going to go to MFM with the twins? I thought it was automatic that they always sent you to MFM when you had multiples so they monitored you much closer anyway.

I just want to chime in and say that I do agree with what @tequiero21 said about regretting not having the nt scan done. It probably wouldn't have changed our outcome, because I don't think our issues were severe enough that early that we would have done anything different, but we could have had more warning that something was wrong. I'll be having every test I can manage if we get pregnant again, because I would so rather know early than get blindsided later.

But congratulations! I'm so happy to see a happy ending to this!

@tequiero21: Ya my office only did two ultrasounds with J but I'm hoping we get more with the twins.
@Mrs. J: Thank you! It was quite a surprise but a happy one. I went in for sure that they would tell me I just had a blighted ovum.

@marionberry: the only reason I'd suggest the nt is because it's noninvasive. They measure the neck and take some blood. I would rather be prepared, but that's just me personally. Plus, u get to see the baby! Get more us pics hehe. I've also heard some moms regret not doing it because they found weird results later on that might have been cleared up w the nt scan. But i do think it's a matter of preference. Easier since u didn't do it w your first. :)

@tequiero21: We didn't do an NT scan for my last pregnancy. I am under 30 so I don't know if it's even covered by insurance. I am a HUGE worrier and I'm afraid that whatever I might hear/find out would worry me more than just waiting until the 20 week ultrasound and seeing if there's a problem. I'm not sure though if they recommend it more for twins? Maybe you know? We have 3 weeks to decide.

@.twist.: @JoJoGirl: @bushelandapeck: @getjazzy: @Happygal: @Honeygold89: @nana87: @delight: @yerpie110: @mrs. 64: @Mrs. Jump Rope: @Trailmix: @daniellemybelle: @mrsjyw: @Mrs. Confetti: @ShootingStar: @Mrs. Twine: @bhbee: @spaniellove: Ok I at least was able to add all of you who commented on this page, because I wanted to say thank you personally. So many of you I've known since I was crying monthly just trying to get pregnant with J. When I was at the RE praying for him I certainly never guessed I'd be pregnant with twins accidentally before he was even 1. It's going to be a BIG adjustment in our house and I'm a bit scared, but excited too! I'm just so thankful for the friends I have on HB. You are truly my salvation most days! And to any I couldn't add because going back pages would be rough..this goes out to you too.
