@.twist.: Thanks! That's so helpful. I also LOVE the 30 Day Shred. I probably will need some of Jillian's tough love once the baby arrives!

@greenebee: well, right now I'm just doing a really light work out since I haven't done anything since finding out I'm pregnant.

I started off with the eliptical for a warm up, then I do a routine of lunges (front, back & side), squats, leg raises, stairs, calf raises and then back on the eliptical. In total it takes me about 30 minutes. I do about 10 - 12 reps of each and use a lightweight medicine ball for my arms throughout the entire work out.

I'm pretty focused on my butt and thighs at the moment since those are my major problem areas. I've left the core work outs out because I'm freaked out about hurting the baby. It also helps that my husband is a fitness trainer and tells me what I need to do next!

As soon as I'm able to again, I will be doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I LOVE it, so I make my husband do work outs similar to hers but more focused on preggos!

@.twist.: If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work out routine are you doing? I've gone from running to nothing, and I most certainly cannot psyc myself up to run yet. What is your go to exercise.

I find that there are some days I'm so very exhausted and other days where I'm ok! Today is an ok day and I feel very productive but yesterday was torture!!

I started doing a small work out routine and I'm hoping that will help with my sleepiness.

@greenebee: @Bookworm: OMG! I'm 20 weeks and am the exact same way. This week is extra tiring for some reason!! I can sleep whenever, and I always hope I get a seat on the train so I can nap!

@Bookworm: So glad to hear I'm not the only one! Yes! I feel soooo tired I fall asleep on public transit and almost at my desk just now!

@illumina: and @Mrsbells: definitely walking! I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day (but it is hard to with the snow on the ground -yuck). Maybe I need to get some more exercise! Before I got pregnant, I ran 3 times a week. I basically stopped short of that once we found out. But that seems like a logical explanation to my sleepiness. And more water is always a healthy choice.

@greenebee: Are you me?? I swear, all this week I've felt like I was back in the first trimester! Augh! I'm having a hard time not falling asleep at my desk right now... I'm still trying to get some exercise in (walking, light weights) almost every day, but I'm getting real tired of the tired. :p

I find getting fresh air and a bit of exercise is really helpful... I don't always do it though! I'm only 14wks, but I find myself getting tired if I haven't had much sugar that day. I crave coke, sweets and sugary things, so I figured my tiredness is low sugar?

Hi Ladies,

I am in my second trimester, and all this week have felt increasingly tired. Something I've gotten used to from the first tri, but lately, I feel even more sluggish. I've even been going to bed earlier. I wonder if any of you ladies have any helpful hints?

From the day I entered the second trimester I felt so much better than in the first where I was queasy all of the time, and really wiped out. I've felt pretty great so far (at week 18), but this week has been a doozie.

I've stopped drinking caffinated coffee, take plenty of naps when I am able, my diet truthfully consists more of your dairy, meats, carbs and fruits but vegetables mostly still don't appetize me (although I try to have at least one serving a day). Any tips? Any other ladies feeling this way during the second tri? Thank you!
