There is a local moms FB group I'm part of, but obviously you're not going to click with everyone - there needs to be some internet dating type site for friends, haha. I posted once on the FB group about looking for some moms to meet up with, but just glancing through the profiles of most that responded it was kind of...well, a lot of people I wouldn't have picked! I moved to my current town RIGHT before having my daughter, so I never got to make friends before being holed inside with a newborn. It really is like dating when you are trying to make new mom friends. We were well established as best friends when she got pregnant. Now I'm 5 months along with my first and I don't know what I would do without her.
