@MissLace: My kidney stone (which was about 9 mm long and 5 mm wide) hurt horribly for a few hours (ended up in the ER with morphine and some other pain meds) but after a day or so, the pain had subsided (though it was still in my ureter). Took about 2 weeks to pass, but the pain was minimal after those first few days. I HOPE yours minimizes too! The only good news I can share... the kidney stone was way worse for
me than labor so maybe labor will feel easy for you after this!!

@AggieDaze: yup I've been drinking a ton and they gave me antibiotics (so I wouldn't get a UTI) and painkillers but the intense urge to pee (with barely a few drops coming out and intense burning) hasn't really stopped. I've been taking Azo as well which the doctor cleared for a few days and it's still not really helping. I just can't imagine feeling like this for three more months 😩

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry. I just had my first kidney stone. Luckily I wasn't pregnant but it was absolutely awful. No advice, but well wishes - hope the stent helps with the pain and everything! Did they tell you to drink tons of water?

I just had to get a stent put in due to a huge kidney stone blocking my ureter tube on my left side at 27 weeks pregnant. I need to get it replaced in 6 weeks, then removed a few weeks after I give birth. It's pretty miserable so far and I haven't been able to find a single positive story from anyone that's gotten one while pregnant. Have any of you had to deal with this? The pain in my back flank is gone for the most part now but I feel like I have a super intense UTI now which they said would be expected for a few weeks. It sucks so bad...
