I can't remember how many days I stimmed ,but I know it was a few days faster than I had expected so we triggered earlier, too. And it worked for me! Trust your RE now and know that those 19mm follies are great sizes so it sounds like you are about ready. I triggered on Day 9 after starting stims. I do think I ended up with less mature eggs than I was expecting since it seems like I had a ton of follicles at he monitoring appt. We had 12 eggs retrieved and only 8 were mature. But the good news is that it worked for us! I'm 30 weeks with twins now. We also have one frozen embryo in reserve. I'm on Day 7 of stimming for ivf and have progressed rather quickly. The doc has been monitoring me closely. I have 8 follicles (I'm 38 yrs old) and several of those are at 19, so it's a good chance that I will do my trigger shot tomorrow night (Day 8). A lot of stuff I've seen on the internet says too early of a trigger shot may result in less mature eggs. I'm so fearful this may be the case! </p> <p>Do you have any advice? I'm trying to calm my mind down, but I'm full of hormones! ha! :grin: </p>
