@.twist.: She walked just fine in them! If anything, she walked better than she would have in normal winter boots because her foot was able to conform to the ground better.

@Mrs. Pen: Thanks! He isn't the greatest walker yet, so I will make sure (if I get them) to keep an eye on it. :)

@scg00387: Thanks! I am pretty excited to get some, they're actually cheaper than some of the other boots I've seen around and they are so dang cute. I think I should get mine online so that I can picky the pattern I like the best. :D

@.twist.: I bought his online! We don't have one in store. They were definitely walkable and I actually put them over his shoes :)

@.twist.: I could be wrong as J was not walking his first winter so he never tried... But I just don't feel like they'd be easy to walk in due to the shape. They don't look like a boot, more like a mitt, if that makes sense.

@Sophs Mama: Thanks! How did you find your LO walked in them? Ok?

@Espion: Really? I think they look easier to slip on since there's no curves preventing their little feet from getting in. I know with regular boots, L doesn't help me put his feet in at all so getting past the toe curve is such a pain!

@scg00387: Thanks! I don't feel like our H&M has a great selection of stuff, but I will look there too. :)

@woodentulip: Thanks! I probably would be pretty cautious with him around ice anyway, so that doesn't bother me too much. When he gets to a point where he needs them for daycare or school I will try something with better grips! :D

@Mrs. Pen: What makes them not really walkable? Just the size? or shape?

@Mrs. Oatmeal: I would love to hear what you think! :D

@Rockies11: Thanks! That's good to know, I can probably do a medium then.

I would get medium and the liner. My 14 month old is barely a size 4 and the small without the liner was as big as her foot!

We had them! They're nice. They're not really walkable though, if you want yor child to walk in them. We had then for J's first winter and he was about 9 months old.

I might still have them- I'll check!

We had them for both our girls and looooved them. They do need an adult to do up the toggles, and in both cases we just got large (and wore Padraig booties on the inside instead of liners), and they were great. Then when inside, we could just take off the booties and keep the Padraigs on. It worked really nicely!

The only thing is that they don't have a lot of grip to them. So that during the shoulder season when things were getting a little slick it was pretty rough out there, but on snow instead of ice, we were very happy with them!

Are these easy to pull on? It seems like it might be a bit difficult to get on and off.

I'd get the medium personally. If you buy the liners for them (which are great!) they make them fit even better. If you find they are still a little big at that point, you can also put your little guy in a thicker sock or even a pair of Robeez. Stonz are great boots, and if you get a medium, he will be able to wear them next winter with only the liners and a thin sock.

They were great for us last winter in Edmonton, where it routinely gets to - 30

I'm trying to find some winter boots for L. Our winters are long and cold and snowy.

Has anyone had any experience with these boots? What is the sizing like? L has pretty tiny feet for being 14 months. I think right now he's in a size 3 shoe. From what I can tell on their website, I *think* he should be getting the size for 6 - 12 months old, but that just seems SO SMALL. I want to make sure they last over the winter, but I also want to make sure he can walk in them.

Anyone with knowledge on these boots would be awesome!
