@ineebee: not yet - that may be one of the options I talk to the doctor about when I see him tomorrow. I'd really hoped to not be referred on yet but it may have to happen.
@Bao: yup, POASed Wednesday and today (four days and seven days past spotting) and still BFN. Still bloated, crampy and boobs feel bigger... none an absolutely true sign of pregnancy though, could just be hormones being messy.
@BabyBoecksMom: That sounds almost exactly the same as me! Your story gives me a little bit of hope but I would have thought that testing today (a week post spotting) would have given me a positive.

@Sweetmamam: How heavy was the spotting? The day my period was due, I started bleeding, but it was barely enough to fill one tampon, and then it was done. (that was strange because mine were usually super heavy) 2 days later, I had super sore boobs and 5 days later, I tested and I got the most faint BFP. I hope that's the same for you!

@Sweetmamam That must be so frustrating! I have PCOS too, and my last cycle was pretty weird. I didn't spot like you, but my LP was super long - like 19 days. My RE says that it may have been because of a corpus luteum cyst (mostly harmless) that's still pumping out estrogen and progesterone even when it doesn't need to, which keeps AF at bay. That was Jan. 29, and when I went for my next u/s three days later, he said everything looked fine again. Could it possibly be that?

Considering PCOS tendencies of having wonky hormone levels, maybe your body started producing less progesterone (to bring spotting) and then changed its mind and started making more progesterone again (no more spotting)?

On the other hand, a good 10% of women continue to get BFNs +14 DPO (according to stats I saw), so that could be you??

Do you see an RE?

@SweetMamaM: Chin up! Keep hope.... I had cycles that were around the 32 day mark and the cycle I got pregnant I had a 61 day cycle!!! I thought I o'd 3 times according to OPK's!!! But eventually I got my BFP!
Is it possible that it might if been implantation bleeding? I would wait a few more days and test again... if not maybe start temping... that way you definatley know when you have o'd. Goodluck! :-)

Hey all, any advice you could give would be appreciated.

We're in our third month of TTC (second cycle) and I've been doing OPKs this month. I had a positive OPK on CD 15 followed by O pain on CD16, so I am as positive as I can be without temping that I o'd this month. We timed BD right for 0-3 & 0-1 and then I had a relatively normal TWW, symptom spotting, etc.

On CD30 (yesterday) I did an HPT and BFN. About three hours later I had light bleeding which I assumed was the start of AF. I woke up this morning expecting it to be a lot heavier... Nothing. All day nothing. One day of bleeding does not constitute a period. I have PCOS and was pleased that if we weren't pg then at least I'd had a normal cycle.

The (maybe) relevant info: Still bloated, still have sore boobs. This month I had acupuncture, used maca powder and ate largely primal.

What's going on? Talk me off the ledge... I never thought I would be so sad to not have a proper period.
