I didn't know very much until I started charting, and once I learned it, I was amazed that I had never been taught it before! I mean, WHY isn't this common knowledge? We had reproductive education in 7th grade. We read bible excerpts that made no sense to a 12yo then met with someone who was organizing the march in DC. </p> <p>We touched on sex ed in my 10th grade health class but all I learned was "if you have sex you can get pregnant, an std or aids. You know, in movies and on tv, you always have the wife telling the husband he can't go out or do anything because "I'm ovulating!" So that always led me to believe that you had to have sex ON THAT DAY in order to capitalize!
