I read that if a client contacts you through the agency you submitted to, they still have to schedule up an interview. I could see that LO gets all shy and starts crying and would probably lose the deal. haha. I do not know how they were used, but I do know that one of them were used on Snapfish a while back. He was selected to join there agency. My mom paid for acting classes through the agency, but there wasn't a single audition they sent him on. I think this was more of a way to get people to attend their modeling and acting school.</p> <p>However, there are some reputable agencies I am sure. A real, profitable agency probably wouldn't charge their models for representation. So you might want to ask what the cost to you is up front. You may get "nothing! ...all we need is to pay the photographer to take headshots..." etc.</p> <p>Also, you need to be totally flexible to take your child to shoots, so you need to be a SAHM who is not married to a nap schedule. And from everyone I've talked to, the money that is made is not worth the time and effort you have to take. They may ask you to cut your child's hair in a certain way, etc. </p> <p>That being said... if you just wanna get them out there, go for it!!! :) Uppababy put out a casting call and we got chosen (we're local to their headquarters) and Wagons Sr. and Jr. were on the cover of their catalog 2 years ago. Fun! But we were not compensated at all. We did modeling for etsy boutiques and WAHM shops for a while when C was a baby, like 6-12 months old. Apparently she has submitted her baby's picture and information to a modelling agency a while back and she just got contacted! She is excited and I am excited for her!</p> <p>With that said, I want to submit LO's info to an agency too just to see what happens! I know there are possible scams out there, so I wonder if you guys know of any reputable agencies I could consider? Have you submitted your LO's info to an agency, and what's the outcome? </p>
