I had the same symptoms for both sons- sore boobs, nausea, mild food aversions, felt hungover all the time, but with my second pregnancy they were earlier, lasted longer, and more intense!! I legit did not enjoy food until I gave birth to #2.

My symptoms were similar for the most part... I didn't have much nausea with either. With my first I had a lot of bloody noses, and a chest rash 3rd trimester. Luckily didn't have those the 2nd time around.
Acid reflux/heartburn was awful with both.

Nausea has definitely been worse the second time around. Started around the same time, but the puking has been more severe and prolonged. Exhaustion is worse, but may just be the toddler :silly:

I'm still breastfeeding and have felt zilch in terms of boobs.

My symptoms were very different the second time and they started so late (after 6 weeks) that I was concerned something was wrong. My nausea (I’ve never thrown up during a pregnancy) was way worse the second time around and lasted for longer. I was always so hungry the first time, and the second time I had a terrible appetite and never knew what I’d be able to stomach. Unfortunately I began getting headaches my second pregnancy and still get them now. Maybe it’s just age? I was still breastfeeding but it was a 2 year old so pretty different.

With my son I had textbook pregnancy symptoms. Nausea, sore boobs...everything. idk why I didn't realize I was pregnant right away but I was on birth control and wasn't exspecting that. Now with my second (my girl) all i had was being tired. Nothing else!!!! I wasn't breastfeeding. I formula fed. I did get pregnant when my son was about 2-3 months old. This time same thing! No symptoms and its been over a year since I got pregnant last. Turns out this baby is a girl too. I guess I don't feel pregnant with my girls.

How did your symptoms differ in your 2nd (or 3rd, +) pregnancy differ from your first?

My first pregnancy sore boobs were my first clue, and a pretty constant symptom in the early first trimester. This time, nothing so far. This time I’ve had 3 days of headaches, and I didn’t have a headache my entire last pregnancy!

Did you find breastfeeding to affect symptoms? Still bf’ing my 9-month-old.

@nanilani: it is so hard. I have crazy amounts of CM today on CD 20 and since I started tracking in early spring - the only time I've had it is when I conceived. I am trying to remain hopeful but grounded about the chances but read into every possible symptom.

I have! I had it with DD in very early pregnancy and again last month when I had a chemical pregnancy. I would drink tons and tons of water and still be thirsty/have dry mouth.

Has anyone experienced dry mouth in the early stages of pregnancy, particularly before getting a BFP?

My mouth has been so dry today no matter how much water I drink! I've had a typical day's worth of water so far at 3pm and my mouth is still really dry. It's not even that I feel thirsty per se, just dry. I tested negative yesterday at 11 or 12 DPO, but AF is a no show so I'm having fun symptom spotting until I take another test in a few days. I have no recollection of dry mouth during my first pregnancy.

I remember being at brunch when I was about 4.5 weeks and not being able to eat the omelet I ordered, and wishing I was on the outside of the booth so I could run to go puke if I needed to... so early! Then it progressively got worse until 7ish weeks when I vomited everyday right after I showered (at least the toilet was close!) Subsided at about 15 weeks. It was a year ago but so fresh in my mind.

I knew to take a test right away because I had heightened smell which I'd had with my prior chemical pregnancy. I had some mild MS from 6-8 weeks, at the same time I got a bad cold. It sucked. Then I didn't really have any other symptoms until I started gaining weight and got early Braxton hicks around 14-16 weeks. I loved being pregnant, I felt so good.
