It's a safe amount. I also always keep a can of peaches in heavy syrup and do one tbsp of the syrup to coat their stomach. Keep an eye on how many diapers or how much they use the bathroom to monitor dehydration. </p> <p>Bread, rice, applesauce, toast, sprite. He said he is still not feeling well :( I couldn't give him anything because I don't want him to throw up again for at least an hour.</p> <p>Since I am not going to call the nurse on call, can someone give me a refresh course on what to do when he pukes to avoid dehydration? I remember the nurse said no fluid for at least an hour, and then one teaspoon of water/electrolyte every 30 (?) minutes, then 15 mins, then 10 mins...etc. and gradually increase dosage. Keep him on diet of toast, banana, apple sauce, and rice... what else again?</p> <p>Anything else I forgot? The illness has reach epidemic proportions so it wouldn't surprise me. When we saw the dr, she said nothing for 4 hours after getting sick. Clear liquids from 4-8 hours after. They included jello and popsicles in the clear liquid. Then after that the brat diet for up to 24 hours after. But you can start giving normal-ish foods 16 hours after. Fast forward to today, he was playing with his breakfast which is completely normal. After he ate he was ok for like 45 minutes and then he just started throwing up. Once he was done throwing up he went on just fine like it didn't happen. So I cleaned him up and popped in a movie. About 45 minutes to an hour later he threw up again this time just a little. I popped him into the tub and now he is just laying here on me looking like he feels yucky. :sad:<br /> He isn't running a fever or anything. I am not sure what to do. I just want him to feel better. </p>
