In this situation how much would you have given. Ride from conference hotel to airport prepaid with non-resort service, $75. (Was a work conference)The hotel has a service which costs $117 one way with tip included. There was a mixup when I went to catch my ride and ended up in resort car and we were at the airport before mistake realized. He reduced rate to $60. I had already paid the other company so I ended up paying twice for the ride. He was a really nice driver. How much would you have tipped? We hadn't thought about this until the winding down part of the move and were trying to slyly google it to figure out a good amount. The were on time, polite, and fast, so we were happy to send a little extra something their way. She says the best you can do for gifts are cash, consumable food but not homemade or personal care items.
