@marionberry: I do! And I shove some extra ice packs down in there if I'm concerned I won't have fridge access that day.

While working, I just keep my milk in our mini fridge in the Mother's Room. At the end of the day, I put them in a cooler (lunch bag) with an ice pack and transport home. Monday - Thursday, I use the pumped milk for the next day at daycare, but on Friday, it all goes in the freezer!

So it's okay to freeze it after pumping it and transferring it home!

I take the cooler bag with me to work, pump, then stick the whole cooler in my work fridge. Once I get home the bottles go back into the fridge. I don't have enough left over to freeze anymore, but when I did, I transferred the milk from bottles to bags and into the freezer it went!

I put the bag of milk in the mini fridge in our breakroom, then put them in my bag, no ice packs or anything, until I get home, then back in the fridge or freezer. It only takes me about 10 minutes to drive home, so they're still cold when I get there.

@MamaMoose: Ok good. I wasn't sure if I could still freeze them. Thanks! I have one of those packs in my pump bag too.

@grizz: I bought two of the Pack It's today so that I could use one to take his milk to daycare and another to take my pumped milk back from work. Do you keep yours in the freezer in between uses?

I keep my bottles in a freezable bag called a Pack It. It works in the fridge or out, since its got built in cold packs. I got it at Babies R Us. It's perfect because I can fit 6 bottles + pump parts in it, and it stays really cold on my drive home!

My pump came with a cooler bag and ice pack. I keep the bottles of pumped milk in the fridge during the day at work and then pop them in the cooler bag to transport home. You can then put the milk in the fridge for use in the next couple days, or freeze it for later.

I'm trying to prepare for going back to work. I'll be breast feeding when home and pumping at work. My question is, how did you store and transport your milk home from work? If I pump do I stick the bags in the fridge at the office and then pull them out to take home in a lunch bag with ice packs? After that are they still good to go in the freezer or do I have to stick them in the fridge for use the next day?
