LO caught a virus over President's Day weekend, then Dad caught it, and then I got it (plus mastitis and an eye infection). I was out of work for two weeks because of it, plus mine morphed into a wicked sinus infection. Stomach bugs are the worst! We had a similar thing happen at our daycare last week. I think LO got a very mild version and then I got the not-so-mild version. The other kids were dropping out like flies and it got so bad that they actually closed our daycare for a day to do a deep clean. I have no idea how many people were affected but one day when I went to pick up LO, there were literally 2 kids there (there are usually over a dozen between the infants and toddlers). In the morning I got on FB and on our daycare's page, there was a post saying something was going around. Tuesday morning there were 3 babies in her room affected, and by Wednesday it was up to 4 babies in her room, 2 teachers, 1 parent, and 2 babies in other rooms.</p> <p>Then last night DH and I started throwing up literally within minutes of each other. We've had a pretty miserable night, and I'm calling in backup tomorrow to help take care of LO.</p> <p>Have you had a bad virus spread through your daycare? Did you catch it? I think the latest tally at our daycare is 6 babies, 7 adults. </p> <p>Blegh! </p>
