I just wanted to provide an update. Britax sent me the new toddler seat for free and it arrived late last week. It works great! It stays attached just like it is supposed to. I just have to put the old seat back in the box and ship it back to Britax using a shipping label that they provided! This makes me like Britax even more.

I really like it. That's why I was so disappointed by this problem.

I spoke to Britax today and they are sending us a new toddler seat for free. They did not give me a hard time about when it was purchased at all. Hopefully this will fix the problem. I then called AmEx to cancel my extended warranty claim and the customer service rep thanked me for being an honest person

As long as the new seat stays attached then this is the best resolution I could hope for. .

@ChelseaRose: @T.H.O.U.: @pinkb: and other Britax B-Ready parents!

My parents just bought this for us and was curious about how you guys liked it? I was leaning towards the B-Agile but they got a deal on Amazon (buy the stroller get the B-Safe Infant Car seat free) and snagged it for us. It's our first kiddo so I'm clueless!

Aftering waiting old hold for over twenty minutes, Britax gave me a few other things to test out with my stroller (if the car seat securely latches and if the seat is secure facing the opposite direction), but it seems like they might help me. The customer service rep did not even ask about the date purchased, but I did mention that I got it during the free ride event last year.

I haven't contacted them yet because we discovered it yesterday and it was a holiday. I wonder if they will do anything if it is beyond the warranty period though. I ordered it from BRU shipped to my house because they don't sell it is stores near me. Maybe I'll try contacting them on monday about it.

Is your toddler seat loose? I never noticed it until yesterday when my husband pointed it out, but when the toddler seat (which is what we use with our 8 month old LO) is connected it isn't that secure. If you pull straight up it stays latched securely. However, if you pull it at an angle either backward or forward it unlatches and becomes loose. This appears to be a safety concern and I'm not sure if it is just my stroller/seat or if this is just how they are designed. We are worried about this as he becomes bigger and more active if he's rocking and moving around in the seat.

Of course I purchased it last year during the free-ride event and discovered the problem 2 days after the one year warranty expires. I'm pursuing warranty issues through Am Ex because they extend by one year, so we will see what happens. I really like the stroller and was hoping to use it as a double one day, but now I don't know if I should get something else instead.
