Using cloth didn't make it dirty and there was no odor left behind.</p> <p>My mom got me this stuff for Christmas but I have yet to use it and I don't know if it is CD safe. I just run some bleach through on hot, and then do a few cycles on empty after that. Then I wash a load of towels or something I don't care about, because the bleach smell persists for a few washes. I try to leave the door open to let it dry out and always make sure the gasket doesn't have any little water puddle left. I wipe down the gasket rim with a Clorox wipe every few cycles. We wash cloth diapers in there as well. We have a top loading washer and I'm always aware of the dirty clothes/diapers that touch the top of the agitator where the water doesn't get to it, and that kinda grosses me out! How do you wash your washing machine? How often? What cleansing solution do you use and what is the water setting you use? </p>
