I have a Moby, Ergo, RingSling, & Pouch Sling. My husband and I LOVE our Ergo and use it all the time. Love that we can still use it with our DD who just turned 2. I used the Moby when she was littler and plan to use the slings with our new LO once s/he arrives in September.

I'm a fan of the mei tai carriers. I have the Baby Hawk and the Infantino Sash. I love them both because they're flexible and I can throw them into the wash very easily. My daughter loves them, too, and my husband can wear them without having to re-adjust anything.

I have an ergo and just bought the infant insert. I just tried it today and I don't know if it's just me but I feel like my LO's legs/ankles are in an awkward position. I've looked at youtube videos, the ergo website but still feel uneasy when putting him in. I think I'm going to return the insert and just wait until he's old enough to wear it without it. For an infant carrier, I've always wanted to try to Baby K'tan :) ...but hubs doesn't want to spend another $40-50 on another sling/carrier that i'll probably only use for the first 3-5 months.

I have an ergo, a moby, and a bjorn. The ergo is by far my favorite of the three - most comfortable and best weight distribution.

@Mrsbells: Actually, many doctors discourage use of the Bjorn because dangling them from their hips actually inhibits spine and hip development. More expensive carriers, like my Beco Gemini, has them in a seated position that encourages proper development.
@artbee: I've heard that A LOT about the Bjorn. You should try a different brand if you want to continue with babywearing. I used the Bjorn and it did hurt my back/shoulders. But when I used my Beco, I NEVER had any pain! My sister uses the BabyHawk and loves that as well, she hasn't had any pain.

Yeah, I've heard great things about the Ergo! The only reason I chose my Beco over the Ergo is because it allows the face-out position as well.

I have heard wonderful things about the ergo baby and so we bought one of those. I like that it allows the baby to be carried in a natural sitting position rather than just handing awkwardly like some carriers.

The moby didn't work out for me. :( We didn't use a carrier until LO was old enough for the Ergo.
Love our Ergo :) Our DD is almost 1 and we still carry her around in it.

I am a babywearer, partly because my 4-week-old son will not take a decent nap in his own bed. Wearing him in a baby carrier ensures a nice long nap (yeah, we're still trying to figure out night-sleeping since he doesn't like his bed!).

I'd love to hear everyone's favorite carriers. I have the moby, which is what I primarily use right now since he's still so small. I also have the Beco Gemini which I used as a nanny and loved it - I love that it has the option to face in, face out, hip carry or back carry. I can use it for him now, but the moby is more comfortable for his age.

The ring sling is looking desirable to me too - I love this one, http://paxbaby.com/zen/rainbow-easycare-wrap-conversion-ring-sling-p-471.html, but not the price tag. Does anyone know of a cheaper ring sling that they have had good experience with?
