@Smurfette: It defrosts just fine. We just put them in the fridge as we need them. They can be a bit watery when you open them, but it stirs together just fine.

I can only find organic greek at 0% so that is what lo always gets, even as a baby!

Everyday she has avo, cheese, olive oil, peanut butter, hemp...

@Smurfette: I don't know how Greek yogurt defrosts, but regular yogurt defrosts just fine! I like to freeze my yogurt as a 'dessert', and sometimes it defrosts too much before I get to it and it has the same texture as usual

@Mamaof2: But if they are in a bowl, do they defrost so they are like normal? R isn't a fan of super cold things.

@Smurfette: speaking of freezing yogurt - yes you can! We freeze the Chobani Champions yogurt tubes and my kids think they are popsicles!

We are just moving D to the 0% as well because I feel like she's getting enough other fats and calories. She doesn't drink a lot of milk, but eats a lot of cheese and yogurt per day.

PS if you don't want to switch her yet, costco does sell the 2% ones (orange box instead of blue box) and you can freeze the cups!

Yeah, if she's still getting her fats from other places, it'll probably be fine for her.

I'm no doctor but I think it's okay if she's getting enough fat elsewhere. Especially if she's drinking plenty of whole milk!!

R is 15 months and 22.10 lbs. She would drink milk all day if we let her, but she just gets with meals so 24-26ozs a day. Is it ok if I start giving her 0% fat greek yogurt? I bought a huge pack at Costco for me but thinking would be easier to just give her that. She gets it for breakfast 2-3 times a week and may 1-2 at dinner when she won't eat anything else.
