She loved having her hands up by her face but slightly restricted. </p> <p>Lots of babies will cry and fight swaddles but eventually will settle down and stay asleep longer with one. My daughter slept so well in it and it was nice to just zip her in and know she was stuck! We use the Miracle Blanket (you can buy it on Amazon or bed, bath, and beyond, among other websites). It has extra fabric for securing their arms closer to their bodies. This helped so much and she has only been able to break free from it as she's gotten bigger (she's almost 15 weeks).</p> <p>Regular swaddles (flannel or Muslin) did not work well for our little wrestler! I have a 4 week old who wakes himself up by hitting himself with his hands. We've tried swaddling however he either starts crying or breaks free. We have a hard time getting him to take a proper nap.
