DD1 was easy peasy and STTN pretty early, and now DD2 is even easier if that's possible! Very chilled out, happy baby who is consistently sleeping ten hour stretches through the night now at 8 weeks. I was always said if more people had their first baby like him the world would have less children ;)<br /> #2 is 9 years younger than #1 for good reason. She was the easiest baby ever, toddlerhood is pretty rough though.<br /> #3 is just like #1. It's just easier to compare when you have more than one.<br /> My first was average I would say- bad sleeper, mediocre eater, but great in terms of mood/ temperament. My second has been easier in many ways, but since becoming mobile has been much harder to manage. N was much harder than J. I think J would've been easy even if he was our first baby. He never needed sleep training to STTN. Sleep regressions don't even exist with this guy. Transitions/change doesn't seem to phase him. He's really portable, and happy most of the time. He's challenging in his own ways though. Like we've had to baby proof the heck out of the house with him, but never worried about that stuff with N.</p> <p>I was the difficult baby between me and my sister. My sister was super easy. Granted the boys are only one, but for example, E is a MUCH better sleeper than F, but F handles pain, like teething, WAY better than Elliot who's more sensitive and emotional. F is much more mischievous, and I think discipline will be more challenging than with E, but he's also not quite as needy.
