About two weeks after I sleep trained DD she got sick for the first time. I ended up cosleeping with her for 4 nights because it was the only way she would sleep. I think the first night back in her crib she cried for 15 minutes or so. After that she was back to normal.

You may have a bump in the road but now you know he can sleep on his own. You won't know the status of his sleep til you get past the illness, but if it was going great then that's a good sign that you can get back on track post illness!

Ugh!! I started sleep training 1 week ago and it was going great, too good. Well I got the horrible call today from daycare that my poor baby isn't feeling well. Went and picked him up and now I am breaking all the sleep training rules... All he wants is to be held and sleep... Please tell me I am not going to ruin all my hard work from the last week... I don't know if I could do it all over again...
