@winniebee: yeah, who knows?! With M I definitely would've been fine just pumping twice. But with A I had to pump every 4 hours ish when I was gone for our anniversary!

@regberadaisy: I kind of don't care to continue nursing DURING the day so I might just pump if I'm engorged (maybe I won't be?!)

@winniebee: definitely at least those two times because I think you'll be most engorged then. But I have a feeling you'll need one mid day.

@regberadaisy: haha yeah. i'm a little anxiety ridden as I haven't left R very much at all and am thinking he might wean, etc. So you think when I wake up and before I go to bed is enough? I guess I can play it by ear.

I would plan to pump at least 2-3x per day.

Children free for 3 days?! You have the best parents.

R is going to be at grandma/grandpa's next weekend for their yearly holiday cousin sleepover (he'll be there 3 days). He will be 1 then (what?!) and currently nurses 3-4 times a day (usually 330/4 am, morning nap, afternoon nap, bedtime), but sometimes skips MOTN or one nap feeding. He takes WCM from a straw cup now (around 3 oz per meal) and so I'm guessing drinks only 10 oz from the tap throughout the day. I have around 30 oz of frozen breastmilk that I'll send and will have grandma give him bottles of that (or WCM) as needed.

Question - for me, I'm thinking of just pumping morning and night (not during the day). Do you think that's appropriate? WWYD? I'll be home packing for our upcoming move so can pump whenever.
