N hates pretty much anything cold so warm soy milk or no dice. If it is warm he will drink 15 ounces at a time. He loves his soy milk. I made myself feel better by getting the organic expensive WF stuff but I only needed to add it a few times before he started to drink it. I've stopped adding it (and I only had to for a few weeks) and while he doesn't drink a ton of milk, he does drink it. She still needs some water added to it but not much. My LO weaned herself at 11 months and can't get enough cow's milk. I try hard to limit her to 24 oz, but she is always asking for more. She often wakes in the night and will only go back down after having milk. I day weaned her at 11 months and she refused formula or aaaaany kind of milk. She ate a lot if solids and had well balanced meals (plus growing at a good rate) that my ped wasn't concerned at all. </p> <p>I wouldn't worry too much. He can calcium and vit d from other sources. We've tried everything and she just wants nothing to do with it. She also dislikes yogurt, cheese (unless it's in something like pizza or a grilled cheese sandwich), ice cream, and basically anything with calcium. We just add cheese to anything and everything we can and buy her cereals/snacks that are fortified with calcium. I will say though, monitoring her calcium intake is my greatest source of stress and worry right now!</p> <p>Just keep offering and if he's drinking a little bit now, hopefully he'll eventually take to it! We are about to try some Horizon Vitamin D milk to see how that goes and offer it every time at dinner instead of water for a few weeks and see if she won't end up liking it. She is 16 months though and so since about 12 months she has had maybe a few sips. But LO still isn't drinking much cow's milk at home or at daycare. He is nursing 3-4x a day on days he is at daycare. They said he has refused bottles of BM too when offered. </p> <p>Any advice? Or pediatrician said he should be getting 24oz of milk total. I have no idea how much he is getting nursing, but he is only drinking a few oz from his sippy. </p>
