I would maybe offer to nurse before offering solids so that milk remains her primary intake (for now). In the past she has always liked to nurse after waking from naps etc. so I will keep the lights out and the white noise on from now on.!She's never been good eating outside the home because of distractions. She's also recently really exploded in her interest in solids. She self feeds everything (never thought I would be a BLW mom but its what she wants) and in her three meals she eats what I would call a lot and loves her sippy of water. Maybe she's filling up? I'd say nursing strike or just distracted by all the new things she can do! Months 8-10/11 were tough on us. Our pedi even said it was a tough age in general for boobs/bottles.</p> <p>I am a WOHM so during the day he would get bottles and when we were together I tried to mitigate distraction by going into his bedroom to nurse and sometimes even turning out the light. I offered a lot - every two hours or so. Fed on demand at night. For those few months LO would not nurse if we were out of the house because he was too interested in everything else going on! He wouldn't even nurse in the car!</p> <p>Now at 12mo he will stop what he is doing and sign for milk! Previously she nursed 4-5 times a day and ate three meals of solids. In the past week or two her nursing has decreased to sometimes three times a day and often when she does nurse it is lack luster and/ or she doesn't even finish the side. If this is a strike how can I get through this without my supply taking a hit? (I feel it already has). If this is early weaning, how can I be sure she is getting all the nutrition she needs? (She is an EBF child and has never had formula and does not take bottles). </p>
