take a look at the wonder weeks app. it' explains a lot of behaviour as normal development stages!

Thanks ladies! The screaming thing has only gotten worse over here. If we look away or aren't paying attention to him he will scream over us talking. He's been SUPER fussy lately and I can barely put him down but I'm hoping it's just another phase.

My 8 month old just started the screaming thing too. It was cute at first and now its just really loud. I'm not sure what can be done about it. I figure he is just "exploring his voice" and how we react, so we try not to make a big deal about it. We have separation anxiety too. I mostly just wear him if I have to do chores that require me to be in and out of rooms. Probably doesn't help the situation, but it allows be to things done

T was 10 months in the 14th and while I can't ever say he's been truly crabby or difficult, he definitely suddenly has more opinions as of the last month or so. He hardly ever cries but he's started having mini "tantrums" when he doesn't get his way or, like your little guy, if I'm not quick enough to get his meals ready. I just attribute it to normal development and those top teeth probably don't help either! T has had swollen top gums for weeks. I wish they'd just come through already!

Hi guys! It's been a while but I first wanted to personally thank each and everyone of you for writing back to me about your baby fall/tumble stories. They made me feel so much better after my LO took a tumble off the bed. Thank you!

LO is 10 months today (I can hardly believe it!) and has been quite the crab apple lately. He has been teething (I think we are getting those top teeth because they look inflamed) and I think is also going through some separation anxiety. Every time I walk away or leave the room he freaks. He's started the new screaming thing where if he's not getting attention and I am talking to my husband or someone else he will just start screaming. He also has just started to scream through dinner too. He screams when I am making his breakfast even though he just had a bottle and grows inpatient. Did anyone else's LO go through something like this when they were around this age?
