@Ash: @Greentea: we introduced solids with a combination of purées and some "BLW-esque" approaches. It seems like he had the purées much more willingly then (6 months). We do smoothies most morning but he isn't really into it after a few spoons/sips. I am really trying to go with his appetite but it's hard!!

Yup. My LO didn't really get into solids until 14 months when she went to town with them. Have you tried purees or smoothies?

I have a 13 month old that's very similar. Just keep trying even though it is sooooo frustrating! Have you tried pouches or puffs? Anything to teach him the basics of eating.

My almost 10 month old is still very uninterested in solids. The only time he really wants to eat is if he's being fed something off my or DH's plate (and only sometimes). He won't sit in his high chair for more than 5 minutes before wanting out.

I fix him finger foods for three meals but he will typically only eat a little at one meal. It's very frustrating and worrying.

Did this happen for anyone? Did it get better or what happened eventually?
