We've had to maintain a reading log for school so they are all written down. Otherwise we would probably go to the library a lot. And then I realized my 2 yo is going to read the same 10 books over and over again for an eternity, so started back up and counted repeats and tossing in a few new ones here and there. Didn't know about the app. We get a stack of 6-10 books from the library every 2 weeks or so, plus all the books in the house, so, a lot have been read!! Ours are a mix of books we own and library books. Some people don't count repeats so they will have read 1000 different books by the time they finish. We read 3 books a night, so have definitely hit 1,000 books already, although repeats are in there. I think at this age, kids really like repeats and being able to predict what's going to happen. We've read some books so many times, that Xander can "read" it himself!
