What really helped stop the shirt-pulling was teaching her the sign for "milk" because then she would just sign milk instead. The first few times he did it, I explained he needed to ask and I would make him sign "please" before I'd let him nurse. After a couple times of telling him that, I would refuse to let him nurse at all if he pulled my shirt even if he did ask please after the fact. I would say "You are supposed to ask Momma 'please'. I do not like when you pull my shirt. You may not have milk right now." If I'm sitting on the floor, on the couch, holding her... The first couple of times I thought she was hungry, but she just sips for a quick second, and is off again...until she crawls back and does it all over again...</p> <p>Any ideas of how to curb this?! </p>
