It might be the time change? When LO was that age, he struggled to adjust to the time change for a little while. His normal 7:30/7:45 bedtime was moving to 8:30 and later. We just kept shifting it back by 15 minutes every few nights.

This yeah we had hoped he'd go with a slightly later bedtime and stick with it so we could enjoy the outdoors but he adjusted back to normal really quickly.

Update: last night I pushed back bedtime to 700pm and it was MUCH better. She just played after dinner and bath while I washed her bottles. Much easier to put down!

I can live with a 700pm bedtime especially with summer coming!

Could be dropping a nap, down to 1 nap/day. Or at least the start of the transition. (X's transition lasted for months before he was solidly on 1 nap a day.)

My almost 12-month old is fighting naps right now big time, so maybe this is just a phase around this time? Her eyes will also be so droopy, but she screams bloody murder when I try to rock her down.

That's a pretty short awake time before bedtime. LO is 11.5 months and at minimum needs 4 hours of awake time before going to bed. You may need to start adjusting her naps? I know at around 11 months, there was no way LO would go down for a nap after 4pm.

LO is 10.5 months and has an 8-8:30 bedtime. She takes either 1 or 2 naps and needs to be awake for at least 4 hours before bed.

Do you think she could be ready for one nap? It seems like she may need a longer wake time before bedtime.

My LO started having a lot of sleep troubles at around 10.5 months. He would fight bedtime or wake up within 5-45minutes after falling asleep and cry. He also started waking up really really early. I thought he was overtired and shortened his wake times and it would help for a day or two and then it would go bad again. Finally, I decided to try one nap this weekend since he is starting daycare and they prefer that all the babies sleep at the same time. His sleep has been amazing! He finally slept through the nights again and slept until 7am this morning!

OK, for the longest time M's bed time has been 6/630 and occasionally 700 if she had a late nap.

On Saturday she did not sleep till 8 but then she woke up from a nap at 530 so that kinda makes sense.
Sunday she woke up from a nap at 3 and still would not sleep till 8 last night.
And today's here it is 7 and I go put her down she gets wide awake. Even though her eyes are drooping while nursing. So I think she IS tired and for some reason is fighting it.

Can she be wanting a later bedtime? It just seems a huge shift.

Thoughts?
