Did you end up retraining? I am in the exact same spot and debating retraining or "wait and see". Going back to work in two weeks and have to get our schedule back!

@fuzzypeaches: This happens to us with major physical milestones too. When she first started standing on her own was a bad one. Luckily it only ever lasts a few nights (and days-- her naps go to hell too) then she goes back to normal without any extra sleep training. It sucks, but it's happened on and off enough to know that we will come out the other side ok.

@Cherrybee: I think I'm going to have to go back to CIO too, ugh I can't stand it!

I sympathise. This happened to E just after her 1st birthday, when she learned to walk. I think we may just be coming through to the other side now after four hellish weeks.... but I we are having to let her cry it out at bedtimes.

Did your LO learn something new recently? New experiences or skills tend to trigger a sleep regression.

Ladies, please help!
My 11 month old was never the best sleeper, but after a round of Ferber at 5 mo and another at 9 mo, things were going well and he was sleeping through the night 3-4d/wk and the other nights just had a hungry wake up at 4-5am.

Now it's all gone to poo. Last week or so have been a total nightmare (waking 2-3x, but taking over an hour to go to sleep each time !) I'm dying, and me and husband about to kill each other from frustration.

Any advice? Do I need to sleep train again (oh, please no) Is it because he's starting to walk and everything will go back to normal? Help a sad momma out :(
