@FaithFertility: Thanks! It's so hard, especially once you think you've got it down!
@youboots: Not teething. 2 naps a day, which she definitely needs.
@QBbride: I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one! I think the night wake ups at least are developmental here...last night she kept trying to pull up/would end up sitting, I think even when she was still sort of asleep!
@magnoliamama42: Glad to hear it passed eventually. I'll keep your solutions in mind!

We went through the exact same thing, and it lasted for several weeks! Before., my daughter didn't even want to be rocked, just wanted to get in her crib and go to sleep. At 11 months, it took over an hour to get her down, and then we were up with her several times a night.

Things we suspect caused this:
- Teething (four teeth coming in at once. we started giving her Tylenol AND Motrin right before bed and that seemed to help ... a little)
- Ear infections (she had a few throughout this time)
- We started to switch to milk/off formula and I think we pushed it too fast and she was hungry. So we went back to a small bottle of formula before bed.
- Changed daycare rooms, which meant a change in nap schedule, which just screwed everything up.

At 14 months, she's back to her normal sleeping self.

ETA: I was *this* close to starting sleep training. But it resolved itself in the end.

My DD is 11m and doing the same thing. Mind you she's never slept through the night but she normally would be fine going to sleep on her own and lately she's been screaming. I think it's developmental or teething related...

DD was going to sleep on her own and sleeping through the night. For the last five days she's been screaming hysterically at bedtime and the only way to get her down is to nurse her to sleep. Then she's been waking up 2 times at night, same thing, have to nurse her totally asleep again. She screams hysterically if DH tries to touch her. Then tonight nursing didn't even work well.

Any suggestions? I'm guessing developmental (she's working on pulling up, cruising) and separation anxiety, but what can I do to get her to sleep? We've CIO sleep trained before and I'll do it again, but I'd rather try other solutions before leaving her to cry. Help!
