@Smurfette: oh, no special reason for applesauce - it's just one thing my LO will always eat, no matter what! She really only likes it with cinnamon though; she doesn't dig bland foods. It's got a good amount of water in it too.

Glad she's drinking more today! Sometimes, if they'redrinking a lot less for a couple of days, I'll try just giving them a bottle of Pedialyte. It works sometimes.

@NurseMommy: She maybe drinks an oz of water a meal and ends up spitting some out. So I don't think she is filling up on water. This morning she wouldn't drink her bottle and hadn't had anything for 12 hours. And was up for almost two hours before she got breakfast. Usually she wants a bottle first thing when she wakes up. I am going to send an extra straw cup and if she won't drink the bottle have them try it that way.

Personally, I would stop offering water and cut back on solids to get formula into her. She may fill up on water which you don't want either. Formula offers enough hydration. Have you tried a regular cup?

@MoonMoon: She will drink water from her straw cup with meals.
@yoursilverlining: I am sending yogurt for breakfast and cheese with her lunch. Why applesauce?
@T.H.O.U.: I am worried about this. Going to call the pedi in the morning. Going to ask day care to offer her water throughout the day.

Will she eat applesauce with some cinnamon in it? How about yogurt with some fruit mixed in?

At this point I would offer her whatever she would take (food and liquids) to keep her hydrated. If she just wants water that's fine. If she wants WCM in a sippy I would try that for a few ounces. And then offer whatever foods you can.

Can you offer her some milk or water from an adult cup or mug (you hold it for her)? My baby loves that more than bottles or his sippy!

@Dandelion: She has a runny nose. Her cough seems gone. I think she might be working on her molars. I can't see in her mouth. Teeth 7 and 8 are still making their way up. But she is chewing in her hands more then ever.
@shopaholic: So confusing! She is still eating normal amounts of table food.
@Mrs. High Heels: I will try it tomorrow morning if she won't take the bottle. Tomorrow night should I do bottle then offer table food?

I would keep offering… try not to focus on one meal or even one day, but take a look at how much she's consuming over the course of a week. Toddlers can be really fickle… they may eat and drink a lot one day and none at all the next.

Can you give her some milk in a straw cup in lieu of a bottle too? She might be more receptive if its in something "new".

IDK either, but K is back to refusing most foods and never took a bottle. I would just keep offering water, sippy cup, and bottles? These LOs - so confusing.

R has no interest in her bottles anymore. She was drinking 4 6-7 ozs bottles, then went down to 4-6ozs, and today she has drank a grand total of 7 ozs. She just refused anything. I gave her purées for dinner cause I didn't have anything else ready for her so she didn't even eat much. I tried once to put in her straw cup and no interest.

I am afraid she is going to get dehydrated. This morning her diaper wasn't as full as they not all are. Then she drank even less today. And even less water since they can't leave it out all day at day care.

What do I do? She isn't eating more table food then she was a week ago.
