We did both breastmilk and formula. My son absolutely refused formula at about 10 months old. He then refused anything in a bottle. The only way we have made it work is to use a sippy cup. Now, he will take the special milk from that all day.

You may be able to talk to the doctor about starting to move him to whole milk.

DD started having issues taking a bottle when she was around 9/10 months, I think. We started offering her formula in a sippy cup a couple times a day, and that helped. She still took a bottle for another couple months, but when she refused, we'd give her the sippy, instead.

My son dropped his night time bottle at around 10 months, so I'd either try removing one bottle, or changing up your solids. At that age, my son ate about 1/4 cup oatmeal for breakfast with a half banana mashed in and another 1/2 cup of veggies with meat and pastina for dinner. He drank 3 8oz bottles.

Yeah, we switched it to Dr. Brown Level 4, so it definitely comes out fast enough for him :(

Have you checked the nipple flow? My SIL had a similar issue and she thought he was refusing the formula, but it was her nipple. Nothing was really coming out of the bottle. It seemed like the formula was too thick for the nipple hole.

Eli has always been drinking 32 - 34oz of formula a day. For the past month or so he started to refuse his bottle. We would have to entertain him while feeding to get him to drink. This week though, it turned for the worse. He flat out refuses his bottles. He now drinks 22 - 28oz a day. So I try giving him more solids and he does eat solids. He usually will have 2 - 3 oz of oatmeal cereal, 2 - 3oz of veggies + protein, a slice of cheese in a day. I am thinking of eliminating one of the bottle feedings. Right now, we feed him at 7am (8oz), 11am (4oz), 3pm (4oz), and 6:30pm (8oz). He would then have solids an hour or two after his bottle. I also offer him water via his sippy cup through out the day but he probably only drinks 3oz max. How do you guys feed your LO at around this age?
