But don't cry now and can sleep for 12 hrs straight. I read it but didn't foll it but know several who have used it. There is a month long bootcamp before night sleep training where you spread out feelings and I don't remember what else. During the actual sleep training you let them cry five minutes at a time I believe. I used Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child and prefer it. A big focus was gradually spreading out feedings, if I'm remembering correctly. She loaned it to me and I still have it somewhere. I never read it or tried any of it. I can try to skim it tomorrow. I remember there being a "boot camp" period. He says it's way too prescriptive in that it gives specific schedules and routines it wants you to follow as opposed to presenting ideas and principles that could be adopted to suit your family and LO.
