@Pumpkin Pie: I just remember a FB friend posting that her twins cried for x time. But don't cry now and can sleep for 12 hrs straight. I remember thinking that's awfully young to go that long without a feeling overnight especially for babies that were born small.

If it's another CIO method, I don't think I'll need it. I thought perhaps it was something else. Thanks for the responses.

It is CIO. I read it but didn't foll it but know several who have used it. There is a month long bootcamp before night sleep training where you spread out feelings and I don't remember what else. During the actual sleep training you let them cry five minutes at a time I believe. I used Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child and prefer it. Oh, 12 hours of sleep lady has videos on YouTube you can watch.

My sister used it and it worked for her. A big focus was gradually spreading out feedings, if I'm remembering correctly. She loaned it to me and I still have it somewhere. I never read it or tried any of it. I can try to skim it tomorrow. I remember there being a "boot camp" period. If you wall me your email address, I can try to take pics of key pages.

@regberadaisy: of is it another CIO? I was under the impression that it wasn't a CIO.

@Meowkers: would you be able to share what the schedule is? Do they have an explanation of the schedule?

My husband just started reading this book and so far he doesn't like it. He says it's way too prescriptive in that it gives specific schedules and routines it wants you to follow as opposed to presenting ideas and principles that could be adopted to suit your family and LO. I'll be reading it after him.

I know someone who used it. I don't know particulars but sounds like a form of CIO. I'm personally not on board with CIO at that young....

I know one person who used it and was successful. I have one other friend whose son slept 12 hours at 12 weeks, and she followed baby wise.

Never read either or tried either. My kid still doesn't sleep 12 hours. (But she does STTN!)

Did anyone use this book to train your LO to STTN? A friend said it worked for her. I tried getting it from the library, but it's checked out. I wanted to sleep train this weekend before I return to work after President's Day.

Did it work for you? Can you please share the method?
