My kid does this whenever he's hitting a gross motor development. I HATE it, but it's usually fairly short-lived.

Sometimes I let him play in his crib and just lie on the floor with some pillows and a blanket. I'll doze a little, and he'll wear himself out and then I can put him back to sleep.

My recently turned 1 year old has been through a recent bout of teething (4 molars, ugh) and sickness. The past 2 weeks he has decided that from 11:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. is party time. He screams in his crib until I come get him, and then wants to play no matter what I try. I've laid down with him in bed, rocked him, gave him some milk...nothing works, and he just screams unless I let him down to play. I tried last night to let him cry it out a little, but it's full on screaming, not fussing, and I can't handle it.

Any suggestions? Is this a regression?
