Yep! When I'm not around/out of sight, she's totally fine. But when I'm there. I'm alllll she wants. I can't even walk away to get water or something!

@winniebee: mine is still a really 2.5 year old but she didn't touch a toy until she was 2. She just wailed and cried and wanted to be carried around absolutely everywhere.

@winniebee: Hugs.
I remember my son peaked at 14 months of his worst, clingiest, night-waking-est self. I hope it passes quickly!

Yes. It's been that way since then and A is almost 17 months. Some days there is finally an end in sight. Others I want to pull my hair out while smacking by head into the wall. I remember it with M but it wasn't nearly this intense or long. :/

At the worst of it there is absolutely no diverting with anything. Even food which is her kryptonite. :P

@winniebee: I think we are there some what! With me she wants to be in my arms or with my full attention
I can divert her attention at times with a "non toy" toy
But only for a bit

R is 13 months and it seems like he has no interest in toys, or playing with his brother. He just wants me in sight at all times and wants me to carry him around. I must have blocked this phase from my memory....is this normal? I literally get nothing done while he is awake. He just begs to be held. He's walking everywhere but doesn't have any words, so not sure if this is a source of neediness? He isn't sick and of course he's teething, always teething!
