So a tooth just broke through this morning, I should have known.

I was getting worried because we've been living at our new place of almost 3 weeks so I felt like she should be somewhat adjusted so I'm happy about the tooth.

I just read this last night at KellyMom:

It is typical for a toddler to breastfeed more often when away from home for a few days, or when there are other big changes in the typical day-to-day routine. To a toddler, breastfeeding is warmth, comfort, reassurance… it’s their “home away from home” that they tend to retreat to when things are unfamiliar or uncertain. Once you are back at home and settled in (or once your child has adjusted to the change, regardless of what it was), the increased breastfeeding tends to fall by the wayside.

I suspect you are in the middle of wonder week 54. That was the worst wonder week for us by far. Just keep offering the solids. My son goes to daycare and I don't provide bottles anymore do he only gets it before, at lunch, after and all night. He eats alot there but next to nothing at home. It isn't a bad thing to enforce a schedule.

So I'm OK with still nursing but little girl has upped the frequency. She usually nurses more when she's teething but I don't see any signs of new teeth.

We did move and travel for awhile and then move again and her papa has had to start working a ton - though he still gets LO time every day. So there's been some major life changes that she might be responding to.

She's overall really happy and seems to love the new place but she's nursing like she's 6 months old again and often will only take a few bites (and we started offering a variety of choices) and then just want to nurse. Anyone else go through this with an older nursing LO, or have any tips for getting them to eat more solids?
