And just because its never happened before doesn't mean its a bad thing! Every pregnancy is different. When I began spotting, my progesterone was a 6 and 9. And my HCG had already totally stalled at that point (p.s. If so, irritation and spotting as a result is pretty common! I know it's so hard not to worry, but with such great betas, I really wouldn't worry. :) I had a bunch of bright red blood at 10 weeks with my son, and the ER doc said something like 60% of women experience some bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy. That made me feel a lot better. I recall the nurse saying that the numbers can vary for many reasons including the time between your last dose and blood draw. When I was pregnant one of the times I was told my level was good by one doc and low by another. And of course the interweb was varied.
