Lol, lately we've taken to bribing DD with the opportunity to pick out a special soap for every bath. I bought a bunch of different decorative soaps at the store and she gets to pick out which one she wants each night.

Also, she gets in the bath easier on the nights I also bathe DS (he's 8 weeks). I fill up his infant tub and put it next to the big bathtub, and then she gets excited about taking a bath and helping bathe her brother.

My son did this for about a week. We just tried to make it a big deal like "Yayy!!!!!!! Bath time!!!!!!" and we would just all clap and cheer and smile. And I bought him a few new toys and put it in the tub. I also started blowing bubbles with his bubble gun in the tub. He was reluctant at first to get in but he did eventually. And now he's back to liking baths again. :)

SAME thing here. We stopped with the bath and do the stand-up shower now with the showerhead. So much better, but he still tantrumed every time for a while. We let him bring things into the bath for a while. Usually a gummy vitamin on a stick (lollipop) will do it. I heard of someone else who did popsicle baths, which is genius because you can wash away all the stickiness quickly.

Mine started the same thing. He was getting so upset because the bath was interrupting his play. He would throw a monster of a fit everytime it was bath time. Then I started having him pick out toys to wash. He'd throw them in the tub, full of water, and would want to go in and wash his toys. It's been about a month now, and this still works. He even asked to take a bath the other night so he could wash his school bus.

This started with our LO about a month ago, (when he was 9 months) and happened to our friend's daughter at 12 months. For both kids, it lasted a few weeks and then got gradually better, and toys seem to help. Our still cries a little when we first put him in the tub (or try to wash his face), but he then gets interested in his bath toys and mellows out. Good luck!

Maybe try new toys? Bringing in a new bath toy usually works for our son.

Have you tried letting him stand and shower? Do you have a removable shower head? My friend has a 15 month old and insists on standing during his "bath."

My LO has always loved water and the bath. Starting 2 weeks ago, he suddenly hates it! He starts crying as soon as he sees the tub and will cry the whole time we bathe him. We've been very careful to make sure the water isn't too hot/cold, we try not to get soap in his eyes, we've gotten him lots of bath toys, but nothing is working!

I'm sure we need to change it up somehow and would love some suggestions. Advice? Thanks!
