A box of Cheerios is my go-to 'baby has to get something' gift. I would suggest memberships to museums or classes & books for family members.

LO2 (DS) is turning one in a month and I'm at a total loss for birthday gift ideas. His big sister (almost 4) has been spoiled by her grandparents and we really don't need a lot of new toys (we also live in a smallish house so font have the space for much more). But I want to get him something nice for his first birthday....not to mention the aforementioned grandparents will buy stuff no matter what and I'd like to focus them on something rather than just end up with a bunch of random stuff!

Any ideas??
