<description>&#60;p&#62;I've seen SO many adorable first birthday parties, but our LO is not even here yet and we've already decided not to give her a birthday party until she is three.  In my opinion, a birthday party is a lot of work for a baby who has no idea what's going on and might not react well with the overstimulation and her schedule being messed up.  Plus, our families live far away so throwing the party mostly for them to get together and celebrate LO doesn't make sense for us either.  BUT, if you love throwing parties, then baby's first birthday is a great excuse to go all out!
