@youboots: ours will be 3.5 which I think will end up being not too overwhelming. My husband works 60ish hours a week, about half from home but still I sometimes think I'm crazy for having another

Good luck on ttc! Hope it's smooth for you

@MamaBear87: I’m with you! DD got really sick right after a year and I got back on depo. I could not imagine solo parenting with 2 small children with DHs demanding schedule.

We are officially TTC next month. At best they will have a 4.5 year age gap.

🤷‍♀️

I’m sure of weeks and days because we did IVF for both.

Baby 2 - c section at 37+5 because of low amniotic fluid, no signs of labor at all
Baby 3 - c section at 38+2 because of low amniotic fluid. Labor pains started two days before. At my scheduled check up doctor could confirmed labor had started and bumped up my scheduled c section because of low fluid.

#1: induced at 41 +1 bc she refused to come out. Ended up with c section.

#2: super fast contractions and labor at 37w +6. Like I started feeling contractions and baby was in my arms within couple of hours. Natural vbac bc no time for epidural.

#3: slightly induced at 41wks bc they wouldn’t let me go farther than what I went for my previous csec. Second vbac but with epidural this time

Also, bc number two came super fast and early, everyone and their moms expected 3 to do the same. Not so in my case and so the waiting felt even longer

DS1-PPROM and induction at 35 weeks
DS2-4 days overdue!

We were prepared with hospital bag and everything at 33 weeks, didn’t make any plans all July and August just in case. My parents came the week of the due date because FOR SURE baby would be born by then. Nope! He decided to come the day after they left! By that time DW felt like a year overdue since we had been prepared so long.

@Mrs. Goose: I'm super jazzed about the age gap actually. I love that she's old enough to understand she has a baby brother coming. She gives him hugs and kisses and it melts my heart. It's all worked out perfectly! (Ha if only I could tell my neurotic ttc self that!)

@MamaBear87: hey Oct.2015 mama. :).

My first was induced at 42 weeks and came at 42+1. My second, I went into labour myself at 39+5 and he was born at 39+6. Everyone, including me was expecting to go to 42 again. I really dragged on packing my hospital bag and finally did at 37 and change when my dad even started hassling me. My midwives didn't tell my info about when to go to the hospital with gbs+ status and stuff because no one thought I would go into labour.

I have two friends who had their first on their due date and their seconds were 4+ days late.

Baby 1 was born one day before my due date.
Baby 2 was born on her due date. So I said other since it’s pretty much exactly the same.

But everyone says second babies come earlier, so I was really really ready from 38 weeks, so by the time my due date rolled around I was so angry I was still pregnant! It didn’t help that it was a week before Christmas and I didn’t want her birthday too close to Christmas. I guess second babies usually are a bit earlier but I also know a lot of people like me who were counting on it or hoping for it and disappointed and frustrating that babies have their own minds even before they are born.
