It also seemed like we kind of pushed for it. I am not sure our OB would have made us get one. I was glad to have it for the reassurance. So lucky I never had a vaginal one. It's amazing to see the difference 2 weeks can make. In the 7w you can see the yolk sac really well but babe looks like a little blob. I did see a flickering heart beat at that point though. At 9w you can see more of a human shape and a little arm bud if you look closely. They were both vag scans. I also had one at 12w and it looked like a real baby then. They were jumping around and waving arms and legs like crazy!
