My LO doesn't really follow this, but I know it's common. It's very interesting to me. Parents I know with kids like this think about days in 48 hour time periods instead of 24.

That's so interesting...I would have to say yes based on the last week for us! He had a really bad Sunday and Monday, and the last two days, he's been really good with his sleeping! Craziness!

I did notice that when LO was a newborn! But at 5 months, not anymore. I'd say she has an "off" night once or twice a week.

I put this under sleep, but I think it's more than just sleep. Has anyone else noticed a 2-day type of cycle for their infant? It seems like for 2 days LMW sleeps well (1-3 hour naps! No night wakings!) and eats well. Then for 2 days her sleep is crap. Our nanny mentioned that it's common for babies to have 2 day cycles of sleeping well and poorly. Now that we have the fancy graphs on Baby Connect I can clearly see a cycle! In the "total sleep" graph, it literally goes up and down in a wave... up for 2 days, down for 2 days.
