If so, you could pull the passenger seat way forward and you should have room for the seat. Like you said, getting baby in and out might be hard, but actually if you pull forward the drivers seat and reach across the back to the baby seat (behind the passengers seat) it should work. It would be hard to fit a convertible in a really small back seat, and even if you could it would be really hard to strap in a baby in the back seat. With LO in daycare, DH and occasionally have to switch off pickups and dropoffs. I was originally thinking we'd be just getting another base but a base is as expensive as a convertible and LO is 13.5 lbs so I'm not opposed to moving him to a convertible (rear facing of course!) since most have a minimum weight of 5 lbs or so. </p> <p>My hesitance is that DH has a 2 door car and I think it'd be really tricky to get LO in and out. Eventually we'll have to figure this out since LO won't be in the infant seat forever. </p> <p>Anyone have any experience with this? </p>
