It's been a while, but when he first came on (season 1), I thought he was intentionally vague about "bad things he did in his past". I saw that episode a few months ago, but it wasn't until last week when I read online that the actor who played Matthew didn't want to continue... BOO! I wish he had stuck around for another season or something, it's not like each season is 20+ episodes... just 6 or 7 episodes!! </p>
