Mine is going to be 2 1/2 when the baby comes. We have one size so we have to wait until the baby grows into them.... which for LO only took 2 weeks. And I have no idea when LO will decide she wants to potty train. If I think potty training is close I'm not going to buy more diapers. But in your case I'd invest in some more. I keep it stocked in the car now, and just carry a medium sized purse with anything that couldn't wait til we got back to the car. Was planning to again when Cricket is born, but it looks like Tractor Girl may be potty trained before then, whoot, whoot! But what I found really helpful was using a one-size shell (like BG Flips) and being able to use them on both kiddos. We've been cloth diapering E since he was a month old and it's never been a problem for us. We've loved it actually and never felt like it's a lot of extra work. It's definitely been worth the money that we've saved.</p> <p>When I think about 2 under 1.5 years old in cloth diapers though I get a little scared.... I'd love to hear about any experiences with this! </p>
