Apparently it can mess with the effectiveness of the shots, according to some recent studies. He took a 2.5 hour nap afterwards and he wasn't overly fussy or feverish. Once she was done I was able to pick him up and snuggle him. He only screamed from the time the needle went in until they put the bandaid on each time, so he really didn't need extra comforting, but some babies get really upset.</p> <p>Also, he was intermittently fussy over the next couple of days (he usually isn't) and slept a lot. I'm so scared for her! What should I expect? Did you hold your lo when she/he got their shots or just sit there and put your hand on them? Did you nurse or feed them after their shots to help soothe them? </p>
