He's usually tired and ready for bed at that time. DS #1 starts bedtime around 7:30-7:40pm after Transformers and play timed with an iPhone alarm. I'm waiting for the bedtimes to match up, same with bath. We do baths together, books in M's room and tuck her in. J and I rock and sing in the chair in his room for 5 minutes or so and then he goes in his crib. He's 3.5 and doesn't nap so by 7:30 he neeeeeds to sleep. My 19 month old takes a 3 hour nap everyday and can make it till 8. Also I solo parent a lot at night and before when my youngest went to bed first the older one got in wayyyy too much trouble on his own.
